this is one of the most creative, awe-inspiring, send a chill down your spine, and intellectual piece of media i have ever been a part of. i dont think there can be enough positive feedback. thanks for sharing your thoughts and creativity with us, dj. i cant wait for more.
I must say, I heard Handlebars on the radio one day, didnt even know the name, but loved the song. Then I saw the commercial, and i looked into the band, awesome songs, awesome lyrics. And now this work bewteen Flobots and the awesome author DJ Coffman. I can tell that change is coming
I like the way you worked the lyrics from Fight With Tools into the story. I’m wondering why you haven’t just come out and endorsed Obama yet. He is the only obvious choice for real change, but there seems to be a lot of “undecideds” out there that need a little nudge. Once occupied minds are activating… and need to vote!
Man.. These are great. I wish it’d have total chapters instead of one page at a time though. I wanna see the rest of this one before I head to Iraq myself. I’ll only be able to catch one or two more before I head out though. Keep up the good work on these comics, and hopefully the flobots will keep it goin’ with the voicin’.
Fantastic. I just started listening to the albums because of the message i heard in “Handlebars”. One of the few good things to come of radio, i guess. Its fantastic. The message is one i personally believe in and have been fighting for. Keep up the good work, and let people know what really is going on and how to make a change.
Man, your writhing is awesome, and reminds me a lot about Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis stile, I don’t know if they are influences for your work or not, but, to me being compared to this guys is a Great compliment!
And the Idea behind it, the concept, man, it really refresh the air around.
From the view point of a disabled Army Vet from Iraq… you’re pretty spot on with some of the views.
The part that really made me start shaking, was when Tony was asking to be put back into the burning wreckage with his battle buddies.
Survival guilt is still something that plagues me to this day.
I never really looked at war like that before. This really gets me thinking. I really enjoyed these comics. You’ve reached me, thats for sure. And the thing in chapter 1 about the signs was really moving. Thanks, Keep it up
I guess I’ve got to echo some of the previous string, but what’s going on? Were you too busy with the election, or what? Have you retired? Are you just going to leave us hanging, to be revealed only in a expensive version? As you remember, your message is only as strong as your signal.
X3 - yes there are 3 more pages to chapter 2 which will be posted during the relaunch. As to what happened, I actually ended up taking over the webmastering duties for the Flobots and there were a bunch of things that took a higher priority over the comic for now (like getting a cool new flobots.com together!)
Again, sorry to leave everyone hanging, I will make it up to you!

obama is the way for change and he is there i cant wait to see his choices!
I’m kinda glad that they finally show the soldiers will to go back into Iraq because there is a major problem there. Plus if we can’t fix that problem they’ll attack us again and we won’t get the peace we want.
