Sorry this is going up a little later in the day. I put the wrong update time in while I was setting up the comic. Oops!

I just read through the first chapter, and i’m sorry to say but this comic reads in an overly naive and childish manner. I am very much involved within town, county and state politics everyday. That being said, I am constantly surprised by the overly simplified manner that complex political and economical movements and events are portrayed. What seems so positive: charity, welfare, workers rights all have become powerful movements to take advantage of those willing to “help.” As a matter of fact, two of the most corrupt national organizations within the US are trade unions and non-profits…both having strong mafia and political ties. Before running off on a feel-good emotional political agenda, I believe you should get your facts straight first. There are some pretty nasty people thoroughly enjoying your comic at this moment, thanking you through their lie smeared lips for all the brain washing you are doing for them.

I like the new strip! Getting very interesting. Very Matrix like. Keep up the good work!
By the way, could you fix your RSS subscriber? It’s seems to be broken. Thanks!

Kohz, I usually wouldn’t approve a comment like yours, because it seems to be overly negative with nothing constructive to say. That being said… this comic is for entertainment purposes. It’s not brainwashing anyone! Come on bro! Lighten up!
While you may be correct about corruption and evilness out in the world, I can assure you that Flobots.org and the overall message here is doing positive things. Again though, this comic is just for entertainment and to get people THINKING on their own. Not telling them what to think. So while it’s hard to approve an overly negative comment, I’ll allow the discussion.
Who are these “pretty nasty people” enjoying my comic? Please tell me. If that’s true, it’s also true that there are hundreds of GOOD people thoroughly enjoying it and supporting it as well. Happy New Years and peace to you!

I love the comic but to me it seems very one sided much like a lot of things published nowadays. The first chapter had a stereotypical portrayal of republicans as rednecks. It is just for entertainment though.

All these comics are awesome. Awaiting the next part….

It’s fascinating what comics can reveal about your own mind. It was never said that the redneck characters were republicans or not. But let me assure you that that story was based on something in real life and those characters actually exist in Southwestern Pennsylvania, with their trucks with the rebel flags. So I can’t say that I stereotyped anyone, I just used them as reference. In a weird way, I think we are all stereotypes of something. We build these things and continue to allow them to dictate our thoughts and judging things and assume to much. You assume they are republicans, when I would just assume they were assholes that didn’t want a black president, because that’s what I dealt with here. I will acknowledge that the first story was a little heavy handed and one sided politically but it was my passion at the time as an Obama supporter personally and should only reflect that. Thanks for reading!

So here it is. I disagree with Kohz, I quite enjoy this and am not a “nasty” person. I am not afraid to say this, but I do not agree with everything here. I have my own views, and others, there own views. People may present their views in whatever form they like. I’m pretty sure Kohz, this page wasn’t a popup ad, so you didn’t HAVE to read it… I do not agree with Mr. Obama on everything, but then again I didn’t agree with Mr. McCain on everything either. We are free to believe what we wish, and that is one of the greatest freedoms of America…
