Seems like an artistic change here DJ. Your style changed. Are you doing something different? Your lines seem thicker maybe and your faces seem a little bit more polished. Maybe you just weren’t as rushed or something. I like it and not a slam or anything. It just looks different to me.

No offense taken! Thanks for that. I’m just trying harder when I draw now because I really want this to rock. Like any artist, there are a lot of things I’m not happy with in my own art, but I’m trying to pin point those things and work to make my overall storytelling better.

Keep it up man. Really a great job. The Flobots are lucky to have you.

That hologram is infected with a phazer virus and our heroes are all vulnerable. We must run a scan, reprogram the communications sector, and access the classified G-14 documents that contain blueprints for the original flobot design. Somehow, we were infiltrated long before this interaction even took place.

You always have good designs for fake companies and products. Every think of designing real ones?

I use to be in that business, Coyoty. Marketing, promotions, pre-print design, graphic design, printers. It wasn’t very fulfilling. The products I create are comic book universes and escape. I much prefer storytelling and entertainment.

Is that yellow Flobot in the first and last panels 13? I’m guessing this takes place pre-2065?
And if the Flobots were originally Coalition tech, why is 5 working for the resistance?

Stay tuned, Lokath! All will be revealed!!!

I’ve got to say this story line already is creeping me out….nice job! This sort of fascism does seem to always creep in with smarmy smiles and shiny objects. I can only imagine the Roman pitchmen shilling bread and circuses a couple thousand years ago.
BTW, is there any discussion of a flobots presence in Second Life. My SL wife and I are very much interested in spreading this message. Already I’ve made a flobots T-shirt to wear but I don’t want to get into intellectual property issues. I’d rather know that whatever I did had at least tacit approval.
If there is anyone inworld just look me up and drop me an IM.

Hey Lokath I like the thinking i would look at Flobot32 it seems as though he/she is providing a back story as to what is going on we will see in a few pages. Flobot32 love that backstory keep it coming. DJ nice really love it have you thought of printing these out and selling them for free or putting them all on one website (like this but with just the panels so we can read it all at once with very little clicking!) =)

OMG, I started reading these last night… and just now, i re-read the comics! I absolutely love them, for I’m not usually a comic-book nerd. Really good, honnestly… I crave for the continuity <3
