It was never said that the redneck characters were republicans or not. But let me assure you that that story was based on something in real life and those characters actually exist in Southwestern Pennsylvania, with their trucks with the rebel flags. So I can't say that I stereotyped anyone, I just used them as reference. In a weird way, I think we are all stereotypes of something. We build these things and continue to allow them to dictate our thoughts and judging things and assume to much. You assume they are republicans, when I would just assume they were assholes that didn't want a black president, because that's what I dealt with here. I will acknowledge that the first story was a little heavy handed and one sided politically but it was my passion at the time as an Obama supporter personally and should only reflect that. I am very much involved within town, county and state politics everyday. That being said, I am constantly surprised by the overly simplified manner that complex political and economical movements and events are portrayed. What seems so positive: charity, welfare, workers rights all have become powerful movements to take advantage of those willing to "help." As a matter of fact, two of the most corrupt national organizations within the US are trade unions and non-profits...both having strong mafia and political ties. Before running off on a feel-good emotional political agenda, I believe you should get your facts straight first.
